The publication you have been reading for the past 9 years is having a
make-over!  There are two big differences in this new rendition of LINKED
and an emerging new vision.

 

First, there will be an increasing focus on Christian life, with an insert
ready for you to reproduce and hand out to people!  Second, look for more
stories about ways congregations are connecting to their neighborhood,
living out Christian justice and passing on faith with people of all ages.
This new focus has to do with living inside the frame of our Baptism with
deepening intentionality.  After all, we don't think our way into a new
life; we live our way into a new kind of thinking.   LINKED is our feeble
attempt at stirring up a life of discipleship! 

NOTE:  LINKED is now published every other month.  You won't be receiving

.        Faith 24-7 Conference for families - April 12th at Lord of Life in
The Woodlands.  While the early bird deadline has passed, you can still
register for this worthwhile event at a very reasonable price.  With 9

.        April 19th is TLU Junior Visit Day - Any students that come with a
church youth group will receive a cool t-shirt!  Please have students RSVP
through the TLU website at www.tlu.edu.  Church youth groups are encouraged
to e-mail Amber Martinez at almartinez at tlu.edu with their t-shirt sizes and
names.  

 

.        The Disciple Project 2008 - Register and mail your forms by Monday
April 21 for the best deal on this popular summer leadership school targeted
to adults, young adults and high school youth  (students completing 8th
grade this spring are welcome!) 

 

Dates:  June 29 - July 3, 2008  on the campus of Texas Lutheran University
in Seguin
