The Rev. Rob W. Moore & Family

Maurice died early Thursday morning after being in ill health for an
extended time – and most recently after battling lung cancer.  He was 83
years old, having celebrated his birthday on February 14th (with his wife
and son at his side in the ICU).  Maurice is survived by his wife, Roberta;
his son, Robert; his daughter, Ruth Ann; a daughter-in-law, Lorraine; and
two grandchildren, Matthew and Mark.

Diane & Carlos Peña & Family

In the sure certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life Joan Macaluso,
the mother-in-law of Carlos Peña, Vice-president of the ELCA, passed away
Friday.  Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27 from 5 pm to 8 pm at
Malloy & Son Funeral Home in Galveston Island, the funeral will be at
10:00am on Thursday, February 28 at First Lutheran Church, 2415 Winnie,
Galveston, TX
