This post came to me today from Pastor Laird Engle, after Around the Synod
went out. Since this event is in one week, it can't wait until next week:

 

The deadline for the Clergy and Spouse Marriage Encounter Experience to be
held August 20-22 (Thursday evening through Saturday) has been extended.
Please register as soon as possible at houcouple at presby-me.org.  Because we
have been able to get some grant money, the cost for the weekend is only $50
a couple plus a free will offering.  This will be held at the Crowne Plaza
in Houston.  For more information contact Pastor Laird and Winnie Engle at
979-578-0292.
