Good morning. I’ve posted an update on the web page: www.gulfcoastsynod.org,
and will keep it up. At some point we may move it to www.futurewithhope.org.


 

Of particular note is that I’ve added Pastor John Bade’s photos from Baton
Rouge, which help you see what’s going on there. 400 houses entered by
trees. 2,000 homes with other kinds of damage. The media says we’ve “dodged
a bullet” but it sure doesn’t feel that way to the folks in Baton Rouge.
Please keep them in your congregation’s prayers this morning, especially as
Ike approaches.
