Merry Christmas

Dear pastors and other Gulf Coast leaders,

 

Today is a big day for most of us. December is busy, culminating in some of
our biggest services of the year. 

 

Thank you for your ministry this year. May your Christmas be blessed. Many
will come through the doors tonight with stars in their eyes, listening for
the whisper of angels’ voices. Advent themes are ringing in their ears, like
the words of Mary, “Here am I, the servant of the Lord. Let it be done to me
according to your word.” May the message and music of this sacred night fill
you with the love of Christ that transcends all the difficulties, pain and
suffering of this world. May the message and the music inspire you to follow
Christ more fully.

 

Truly he taught us to love one another.

His law is love and his gospel is peace.

Chains shall he break for the slave is our brother,

And in his name all oppression shall cease.
